Ice at Bannerman Park in Porcupine

Bannerman Park storm April 2017

Mother nature is fascinating!

We were taking a few photos of the Canada 150 tulips (I’m more than a little excited to see them in bloom) popping through the soil at Bannerman Park in Porcupine when a storm blew in.

In about 10 minutes the shoreline, which was mostly dry beforehand, was covered in piles of ice several feet high with logs and rocks mixed in that had been pushed on shore from the force of the wind.
